Islanders Create Safe Way-Points for Ice Travellers

John Dodge (pictured), David Washtock, Bridget Wise, and Donna Steinbach cruised on snowmobiles and a four-wheeler to an ice location between South Bass Island Lighthouse and Catawba on Friday afternoon.  Mr. Dodge and Mr. Washtock brought along a Christmas tree to create safety markers near two long cracks which pose danger zones.
