Lake Erie Ice Prevents Miller Boat Line’s Scheduled Service

The slow demise of Lake Erie ice has forced Miller Boat Line to delay the start of spring operations to the Bass Islands. The boat line report says, “We are currently not running ferry service, but Spring is heading this way!”  The 2015 schedule indicated the trips between South Bass Island and Catawba would begin on 19 March 2015.  The Middle Bass Island runs are scheduled to begin on 27 March 2015.  Updates are available at Miller Ferry.
