Put-in-Bay’s celebration of wonderful events continues in September and October, so don’t put away your scheduling calendar yet! Below is a list of unique opportunities to spend rewarding and fun times on South Bass Island as we transition to the glorious days of autumn.
Labor Day Weekend (Aug. 30- 2 Sept.) is a special time to explore the wide range of island features. Visit the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce for great ideas!
Historic Weekend (6-8 September) provides sights and sounds which honor the past and highlight the community’s heritage. An added bonus is the thrilling collection of Ford Broncos that add to the festive atmosphere. There is Art in the Park and a parade to enjoy, too!
Half-way to Saint Patrick’s Day (14 Sept.) presents just the right mood to toast Irish heritage. Sláinte! to decorated golf carts in parade.
Put-in-Bay Road Races (17-19 Sept.) remains and island favorite for those who revel in the spirit of old-time racing action.
VFD Clambake, Sale Weekend, Miller 5K close out September (21st) activities for all ages and interests.
Put-in-Bay Oktoberfest (12-13 Oct.) brings out the lively, fun, scrumptious, and musical elements of German culture.
Round House Bar Wake (19 Oct.) offers all the chance to reflect upon and cherish another grand summer season at The Bay!
