Nor’Easter Pounds Bass Islands

Over 1/2 inch of rain fell on South Bass Island today as the high temperature reached only 38º F; a wind speed of 22 knots was recorded at the office of Put-in-Bay Daily™, near the east shore.  Ottawa County is under a Flood Watch during the day on Friday, and there is a possibility of heavy thunderstorms with damaging winds, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.
