Perry’s Victory Park Celebrations Set to Begin Saturday, 25 May 2013
A Memorial Day ceremony honoring the casualties of the War of 1812 will start at 11:30 am on the back lawn of the visitor’s center. The featured speaker is Gene Allen Smith, author of The Slave’s Gamble: Choosing Sides in the War of 1812.
