Put-in-Bay Blessing of Fleet Heralds New Beginning

Rev. Mary Staley (St. Paul’s Episcopal Church) and Deacon Mike Leahy (Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church) completed the annual Put-in-Bay Blessing of the Fleet from aboard the Boardwalk Harbor Taxi, Stanley B.  Tina Rogers directed the event for the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce.  She narrated the activity with a live video broadcast.  The Jet Express III and three Miller Boat Line ferries received  blessings.  The Put-in-Bay Police and Fire Departments, and the Life Flight helicopter were also included in the event.       Photos by Donna Steinbach / Click to enlarge!
