Put-in-Bay Panthers Top Visiting Waite Indians to Right the Ship

Put-in-Bay School Panthers worked hard to rebound after a tough pair of losses in the Great Lakes Islands Basketball Tournament.  The Panthers used a strong 2nd half to beat a tough and competitive Waite squad, 31-43.

This afternoon’s win at the Poulos Recreation Center improves the Panther record to 4 wins and 4 losses on the year.  Leading the Panthers today were Lear Cooks with 19 points and Lukas Kostura with 9 points.  The team’s calendar year closes on Monday at Jones Leadership Academy.  Game tip-off is 5 pm.  Click an image for enlarged view.
