“Slip, Slide, and Away!”

The strong southwest wind of the past several days has pushed ice from Put-in-Bay and the West Shore past Rattlesnake Island and into the channel between Middle Bass Island and South Bass Island.  Dramatic sweeping and crushing waves created yet another fascinating element of nature’s dynamics.  The views below come from Mary Ann McCann’s Anchorage.
