Stormy Weather Puts Hold on Ferries and Car Races
Strong winds and voluminous rainfall contributed to the interruption of Jet Express and Miller Boat Line Ferry services. Put-in-Bay Car Races put a hold on events due to the stormy weather.
South Bass Island Lighthouse station reported a steady wind at 27mph out of the north, with gusts at 31mph. The National Weather Service issued a Gale Warning from Maumee Bay to the Islands at 2:51pm this afternoon.
