Tall Ship Appledore IV on Summer Sail Excursions
Appledore IV is owned and operated by BaySail out of Bay City, Michigan. BaySail is a “private non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship of the Saginaw Bay and the Great Lakes through engaging shipboard experiences . . . programs include science education for K-12 school groups, overnight voyaging for youth and adults, public sails, charters, group tours, and port visits.” Appledore IV spent Thursday night in the mooring field of Put-in-Bay, re-fueled in the morning, and was last seen around 11 am, heading ENE beyond Ballast Island, Lake Erie.
