The Put-in-Bay Township Park District has officially completed the purchase of the Duff Vineyard Preserve! This significant acquisition was made possible through a collaboration of various partners, including the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund, the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy, the Park District of Ottawa County, and the Randolph J. and Estelle M. Dorn Foundation. Additionally, numerous generous donations and no-interest loans from private individuals helped bring this project to life.
The newly acquired Duff Vineyard Preserve will enhance conservation efforts and provide valuable green space for residents and visitors alike. A dedication ceremony is planned to celebrate this achievement on August 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the site.
