Preliminary vote totals from the Ottawa County Board of Elections show early numbers in local contests and tax levies. All results remain unofficial until certified.

The Ottawa County Board of Elections released its unofficial summary at 10:03 p.m. on November 4, 2025, providing early results from the general election. The figures below reflect all reported votes at that time and are not yet certified. Final counts will be issued after the county’s official canvass.

Village of Put-in-Bay – Council (vote for 4)

Jacob Market – 69 votes (25.09%)
Jeffry Koehler – 68 (24.73%)
David Schafer – 61 (22.18%)
Philip E. Hahn Jr. – 49 (17.82%)
Michael L. Cooper – 28 (10.18%)
Total Votes Cast: 275 | Undervotes: 65 | Contest Total: 340

Put-in-Bay Township – Trustee (vote for 2)

Jon R. Scarpelli – 282 (39.28%)
Eric L. Engel – 256 (35.65%)
Brian Cultice – 180 (25.07%)
Total Votes Cast: 718 | Undervotes: 78 | Contest Total: 796

Put-in-Bay Local School District – Board of Education (vote for 3)

Three candidates ran unopposed for three available seats:

Suzanne Kostura – 296 (35.58%)
Karen Goaziou – 271 (32.57%)
David S. Hill – 265 (31.85%)

Put-in-Bay Township EMS Levy: 314 For (80.93%) | 74 Against (19.07%)
South Bass Parks Levy: 232 For (68.44%) | 107 Against (31.56%)
Middle Bass Roads Levy: 36 For (81.82%) | 8 Against (18.18%)
North Bass Refuse Site Levy: 3 For (100%) | 0 Against
Put-in-Bay School Recreation Levy: 230 For (67.06%) | 113 Against (32.94%)

All reported levies received majority support in the unofficial count.
