The Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance has announced that Erica Zachar of Reel Bar has been named Ohio’s Bartender of the Year for 2025.
The honor recognizes exceptional skill, service, and dedication in Ohio’s hospitality industry. Zachar, a longtime member of the Reel Bar team, is well-known to island locals and visitors alike for her warm personality, professionalism, and ability to make every guest feel at home.
Reel Bar shared the exciting news on social media this week, expressing their pride in Zachar’s achievement:

The official award presentation will take place at the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance’s annual awards ceremony on December 8, 2025.
Put-in-Bay was proudly represented among this year’s finalists, as Keegan Turner from Red Moon was also recognized for excellence in bartending.
