The 5K starts and finishes across from The Boardwalk on Bayview Avenue.

The Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers are a nonprofit organization established in 2001.
Proceeds from this event will support local, regional, and national charities, including scholarships for Put-in-Bay High School students, environmental organizations, youth programs, community initiatives, and more.
In 2024 alone, the Browns Backers donated over $14,000 to important causes.
