Morning light over Bayweek Regatta, by Madison Goff Wood

I-LYA Bayweek sailors, hosted by the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club, greeted day one after early-morning thunderstorms, rising temperatures, and very light winds.  After several delays, the Race Committee cancelled the day’s three races.  Competition is scheduled to resume Saturday morning at 9am, after a skippers meeting at 7:45am.

The afternoon off allowed sailors respite aboard the boats and at the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club.
