Fresh Snow Hampers Neither Flights nor Ice Fishers

Put-in-Bay received another two inches of snow early on Wednesday, bringing this week’s total to six inches.  As the temperature remained steady in the low twenties (F), Island Air Taxi continued operations, and a multitude of ice shanties dotted the West Shore horizon.  Captain Russ Brohl exclaimed, “The Perch are jumping into our hands!” And he had proof to share.
