New Changes in Golf Cart Parking in Put-in-Bay Village
Changes in golf cart parking in the Village of Put-in-Bay are reported in today’s issue of Cleveland.com. In an article entitled, “Put-in-Bay caps golf cart rentals, institutes downtown parking fee to ease summer congestion,” reporter Susan Glaser shares “a law that caps the number of golf carts on the island” and Village Council instituting “a new $5-per-hour fee for drivers who park downtown.” Comments from Village Mayor Judy Berry and Council Member Jake Market are included.
The complete article is available at Cleveland.com.
A review today of the Village of Put-in-Bay Web did not reveal any information pertinent to the news reported by Ms. Glaser; however, an ordinance passed 12 March 2024 increases the business license fee for “Golf cart-scooter-bike rentals and repairs to $175.00.” The most recent Council Minutes published are from 5 March 2024. Ways to pay a parking ticket are outlined on the Village Mayors Court site.
