Ottawa County Auditor Confirms Tax Billing Error

In two confirmed reports, Put-in-Bay Daily has learned the Ottawa County Auditor’s office mailed tax bills for the entire year and notified property owners their tax bill was delinquent.  The auditor’s office, contacted this morning by Marsha Parker of South Bass Island, said they made a big mistake and will be sending everyone new bills later this week.
