Perry’s Monument to Hold Public Forum on Reorganization

ParkServiceLetterheadDear Friends and Neighbors,

We invite you to join us for a public forum on the possible reorganization of park management at Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial. The National Park Service is conducting a Leadership Succession Analysis and will hold two public forums for the purpose of collecting information from the community about potential staff changes at the park, particularly the future of the superintendent position. Your input is very important in this process and your comments will be used to develop a recommendation leading to a decision.

The analysis is being led by Dean Alexander, superintendent of Hopewell Culture National Historic Park and Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. Based on his findings, he will report to the NPS Midwest Regional Director who will make the decision how to provide for the leadership of the park. Two forums will be held Thursday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. and again 5:30 p.m. in the Perry’s Victory Visitor Center auditorium.

Thank you for you continued support. We hope to see you at one of the two public forums.

Sincerely,

Barbara Fearon
Acting Superintendent
