Put-in-Bay School Students Honored Veterans in Wonderfully Prepared Program

Put-in-Bay School students presented a carefully orchestrated Veterans Day assembly in which individual speakers shared original speeches detailing the history, soldier profiles, and significant meanings pertinent to the national day of remembrance. The school choir, directed by Gay Pippert, sang a sequence of music including the Star Spangled Banner, armed forces anthems, God Bless the USA, and America the Beautiful. Local members of the VFW were in attendance, as well as numerous Village and Township citizens. Speech texts will be available on the Put-in-Bay School Web page.
