An overcast and rainy Monday morning failed to dampen the enthusiasm of twenty-four Road Scholars from across the United States as they boarded the “Sonny-S” for a special tour of Kelleys Island. The outing included a tram tour of the island, a hands-on experience with licensed bird-banders, fresh perch luncheon at Camp Patmos, a visit to the glacial grooves, and a stopover at the Kelleys Island Historical Museum.
