St. Paul’s Bible Buddies to Experience “Jungle Safari”

Reverend Mary Staley, Priest-in-Charge at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Put-in-Bay, has announced a new focus and activity program for the church program known as Bible Buddies.  The Vacation Bible School (VBS) program will be applied on five Tuesday afternoons at 3:15 pm, starting on 4 February 2014.  Bible Buddies meets for one hour, so children will experience only some of the segments described in the YouTube video introduction. Standard publishing describes the program this way:  “Jungle Safari: Where Kids Explore the Nature of God! teaches children that God is creator, provider, protector, Savior and King! Kids will KNOW what’s so great about God, EXPLORE the nature of God, and SERVE God in practical ways.”  NOTE:  When Put-in-Bay School is closed due to weather, Bible Buddies is not held.
