Two Put-in-Bay Bartenders Nominated for Ohio Bartender of the Year
Two of Put-in-Bay’s own have been recognized among the best in Ohio’s hospitality scene.
The Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance (ORHA) has announced its 2025 Industry Awards nominees, and two local bartenders made the statewide list. Erica Zachar of Reel Bar and Keegan Turner of Red Moon are both finalists for Ohio Bartender of the Year.
The ORHA Industry Awards spotlight “the dedication, hard work, and exceptional service of Ohio’s restaurant and hospitality community.” Winners in several categories — including Restaurant of the Year and Bartender of the Year — are chosen by public vote.

Voting is open now at the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance’s website: eatdrinkohio.org/awards.
The winners will be announced this December during a statewide ceremony in Columbus.
For now, islanders and visitors alike can rally behind Erica and Keegan to show their support and help bring the title of Ohio Bartender of the Year home to Put-in-Bay.
