Kelleys Island Claims Lake Erie Islands Softball League Championship with Decisive Victory

The 2025 Lake Erie Islands Softball League season came to an exciting conclusion Monday night as Kelleys Island defeated the Blue Marlins 15–3 in the decisive Game 3 of the championship series.

After splitting the first two games of the best-of-three matchup, the teams met at Put-in-Bay for the winner-take-all finale. Kelleys Island, fresh off a dramatic extra-innings win in Game 2, carried their momentum into the championship and delivered a dominant performance on both sides of the field.
