Put-in-Bay Chamber Continues RUBY Award Streak with Two Wins in 2025
The Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau was recognized with two top honors at the Ohio Travel Association’s RUBY Awards luncheon this week.
The Chamber received the RUBY Award for Newsletter and the RUBY Award for Broadcast Advertisement for its 2025 marketing work. The broadcast campaign, created in partnership with iHeart Media, promoted Put-in-Bay to a statewide audience.
In addition to the two wins, the Chamber was also named a finalist in three other categories: Website (for the newly redesigned visitputinbay.com), Social Media Campaign, and Marketing Campaign. Organizers emphasized that earning a finalist designation alone is a significant achievement, given the volume and quality of entries submitted from across Ohio.
The RUBY Awards, sponsored by Ohio Magazine and presented annually by the Ohio Travel Association, honor the most innovative and effective marketing efforts in Ohio’s tourism industry.
A Track Record of Recognition
This year’s wins continue a streak of statewide recognition for the Chamber:
-

-
2023 – Citations of Excellence for Marketing Campaign, Newsletter, and Social Media Campaign
-

Together, these awards demonstrate a consistent record of excellence across multiple platforms — from print and digital to broadcast.
