East and north-east winds between 7 and 16 knots recorded at South Bass Island Lighthouse appeared to be the prevailing reason for another rise in water level at Put-in-Bay on Wednesday. Records from the Marblehead NOAA station illustrate the roller-coaster trend of early May 2017. The National Weather Service Marine Point Forecast suggests there will not be a change to the northwest until Saturday.
