The 6th Annual Draft Day 5k will take place on the historic island of Put-in-Bay, Ohio, on Saturday 25 April 2020.  Every participant will receive an Official Draft Day 5k Jersey, Draft Day 5k reusable tote bag, free lunch, drink discounts, tickets into a raffle for Cleveland Browns autographed footballs, framed and signed pictures and more!  This event will benefit the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers charities.

Virtual Race Information:

A Virtual 5K (or any other virtual race) is a race that you choose to complete where ever and whenever you would like. You can walk, run, or use a treadmill. The beauty of a virtual race is that you can run the race at your pace at your convenience.

*    It is not required to report your time.  If reporting your virtual race time, you must contact us within two days after the actual race.  You will not be eligible for any awards and your time will not be listed with the other participants.

**  You do not attend the actual race.  If you would wish attend the race after registering, notify the race day registration table that you were signed up of a virtual race.

LAKE ERIE ISLANDS BROWNS BACKERS SUPPORT CHARITIES!

Your support of this race is greatly appreciated as proceeds from the race will go directly to the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers for their 2019 – 2020 charities.  This year the LEIBB donated money to local, regional and national foundations and charities including the: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund, Ottawa County “Kids for Christmas” which will put food on the table and a present under the tree for local area families in need, “Red Nose Day” to end child poverty, Lake Erie Islands Nature Camp, Put-in-Bay Arts Council, Cleveland Browns Foundation, and five Put-in-Bay High School scholarships.  The scholarships included the Gustav Heineman Scholarship, Ricky Dysert Scholarship, Jer-Bear Scholarship, Jeff Verhoff Scholarship, and two $1500 scholarship from the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers.  The LEIBB is a non-profit organization established in 2001.
