Put-in-Bay School Elementary Students during their visit to the Maritime Museum
In April our six seniors embarked on a class trip of a lifetime. With chaperones Patrick Green and Erin Urge as their travel guides, they spent a week touring Hawaii. The students have some stunning photos so look-up a senior and ask them about their trip.
Teacher appreciation week is May 6-10. The Browns/Backers will be treating the staff to breakfast on May 10th . We will also be doing our PBIS reward trip to the Mud Hens game on May 8th . Grades K-12 and teachers will be attending the Mud Hens game courtesy of transportation by the Jet Express.
This year’s high school prom will be held at the Yacht Club on Saturday, April 27th. The Put-in-Bay high school students and guests will dance the night away. A huge thanks goes out to Mrs. Katie Schneider for providing this opportunity to our high school students.
The Spring Concert / Art Show is scheduled for Thursday May 2 nd . Student artwork will be displayed in the multi-purpose room at 6:00 and a concert will follow at 7:00. A huge congratulations to the students and Mrs. Amsden and Mrs. Pippert.

Our last day of school is Thursday, May 23rd, with students being dismissed at noon. Pizza lunch for all students and staff is being provided by the Brewery. Graduation will take place on Thursday night at 6:30pm at Perry’s Monument.
The school year went very fast and if you ask our seniors it went super-fast for them. We will miss Hope, El, Elora, Joe, Emil, and Lyla, but we know they will be back to visit. We will also be losing two stellar educators, in Miss Pippert and Mrs. Rence who will both be retiring this year. It will be very difficult to fill these two positions with all the expertise that will be leaving our hallways.
We hope everyone enjoys their summer and we will see everyone back on August 27, 2024.
