Jet Express Kicks Off 2026 Season as More Put-in-Bay Businesses Open for the Year

Put-in-Bay’s 2026 season continues to take shape today as the Jet Express officially begins service to the island, marking a major step in the return of daily visitor traffic.

While several businesses have already opened their doors in recent weeks, the start of Jet Express service traditionally signals a shift into a more active stretch of the season, with increased accessibility from the mainland and a steady flow of guests arriving on South Bass Island. Visitors planning a trip can view the latest schedules and departure times directly through the Jet Express website.

As transportation ramps up, more island staples are also opening for the year. Businesses welcoming guests today include The Boardwalk, Fish Bowl, Hooligans Irish Pub, Mossbacks, Mojito Bay and Perry’s Cave and Family Fun Center, adding to the growing list of attractions now available to visitors.

The Jet Express is also rolling out new passenger savings options for the 2026 season, adding more flexibility for visitors planning trips throughout the summer.

With transportation now fully underway and more businesses reopening each week, Put-in-Bay is quickly transitioning into its peak season rhythm as the island prepares for a busy spring and summer ahead.
