Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church sponsored another successful Fastnacht Bingo event at the Put-in-Bay Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Enthusiastic players, including a large number of young citizens, participated in a variety of Bingo combinations in attempts to win prizes in several denominations or gift baskets. Each of the player tables included a platter of Fasnachts–a fried dougnut traditionally served the day before Lent begins.
