Travelers leaving the Bass Islands and shuttling to a car parked at the Miller Ferry Catawba Parking lot should prepare for some serious snow removal. Photos taken today, by Captain Tom Parrot, reveal serious accumulation blocking the traffic lanes in and out of the parking area. Mr. Scott Market, of Miller Boat Line, apologized profusely for the circumstances. He reported the staff at Catawba are not on duty after the ferries stop running. Calling a towing company may be the only way out at this time.
