Rain lingers this evening on South Bass Island, but the intense storm of the last twenty-eight hours left powerful reminders of its presence. High water, lake wash, downed limbs and trees, and ominous wind gusts battered the Bass Islands.

Middle Bass Dock — Captain John Schneider witnessed high water surge at Middle Bass Island Dock Company.
