Put-in-Bay Daily received this image from a reader and frequent Bass Islands visitor who attended the Rolex 24 @ Daytona this past weekend. We just had to share!
“When two young city gentlemen pursue romance in the country they come up against more than they bargained for in this insightful and witty romantic romp. It’s city vs. country, men vs. women, and parents vs. children – with love conquering all–in one of the most popular British comedies of all time.” Cleveland Play House
The Put in Bay Arts Council is proud to sponsor the Junior Drama Society’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)! This laugh-out-loud comedy acts out shortened versions of all Shakespeare’s published works. How, you wonder? A cooking show, a rap, a football game, and come see the rest! But be warned: Chance of audience participation is possible! Directed by Katherine Woischke with help from Beth Furner, this play features the talent of 18 Put-in-Bay school students, grades 5 through high school.
The show will be performed at the Town Hall stage on the NEW dates of Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21st. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $8 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens. We hope to see you there!
