Put-in-Bay Police Uniform Fundraiser Set for June 28 at Reel Bar
Put-in-Bay residents and visitors will have an opportunity to support local law enforcement during a community fundraiser this weekend at The Reel Bar.
The Put-in-Bay Police Uniform Fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Reel Bar, located at 461 Catawba Ave.
According to organizers, the fundraiser’s goal is to raise $1,500 to help purchase officer uniforms. Organizers say uniforms are currently paid for out of pocket by officers.
The event will feature live entertainment from Put-in-Bay favorite Bob Gatewood along with several family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon.
Planned activities include:
- Photos with a police officer
- Ring the Siren Experience
- Personalized songs by Bob Gatewood
- Additional activities to be announced
Community members who are unable to attend in person can also support the effort through online donations.
The fundraiser is designed to help offset the cost of uniforms while bringing the community together in support of the officers who serve Put-in-Bay throughout the year.
