Miller Boat Line’s Catawba and Lime Kiln Docks were the scenes of unusually heavy traffic for early April today. Mild and sunny weather, plus the opening of several island restaurants drew considerable vehicle and passenger traffic to South Bass Island. Many of the transients arrived to witness Monday’s total solar eclipse.
