A mild December evening with clear skies proved to create a hospitable night out for island residents celebrating another year of successful preservation efforts by the Lake Erie Islands Chapter of the Black Swamp Conservancy. The South Bass Island Lighthouse, illuminated and decorated for the holidays, came to life with laughter, toasts, and story-telling. Kudos to Lisa Brohl and the entire LEIC-BSC Board for hosting an inspiring community event.
