Planes Grounded, Monument Disappears on Columbus Day

Incredibly dense fog places the Bass Islands in an eerie (pun intended) landscape this Monday morning!  The National Weather Service reports, “Areas of fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Southeast wind 6 to 10 mph.”
