Put-in-Bay Ullr Fest Draws Community Participation

Amidst snow showers, an easterly breeze, and air temperature of 34°F, South Bass Island residents   celebrated Ullr Fest with Christian prayers offered by Deacon Jim and Father Bob prior to the ritual burning of BUGI–“bring us good ice”–the mayfly.  The event closed with a powerful fireworks display.
