Wind Shuts Down Afternoon Ferry Operations

Miller Boat Line cancelled afternoon service today due to severe wind conditions.  The National Weather Service’s High Wind Warning, set to expire at 7pm this evening, became a certainty as early as 11am, as seen in the accompanying chart from the South Bass Island Lighthouse weather station, SBI01.
