Youth Fishing Tournament Coming to Put-in-Bay

4th Annual Aquatic Visitor Center Youth Fishing Tournament set for June 27th

The Ohio State University F.T. Stone Laboratory is happy to announce the return of the Aquatic Visitor Center (AVC) Youth Fishing Tournament, now entering its fourth year.  The event is aimed at children 15 years old and younger, with required parental supervision. The event is free, but children must be registered prior to fishing. Equipment and bait is provided by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. The tournament will run from noon to four. Each hour, prizes will be awarded for the largest fish, the smallest fish, and the most number of fish caught. Prizes and food donated by local Put-In-Bay businesses.
Registration will be required at the time of the tournament. The number of participants is limited to available equipment on hand and is first come, first served.
