Mid-Summer Splendid at Put-in-Bay

Mid-Summer’s Day at Put-in-Bay reveals a multitude of excitement and activities.  Not only is the Jeep Invasion making a significant presence, but the Middle Bass Island Music Festival draws a great crowd, too.  The streets of South Bass Island are filled with visitors in golf carts, bicycles, and motorbikes.  Perry’s Monument has a healthy line of visitors waiting to see the view from the third tallest U.S. Memorial, and Put-in-Bay harbor has many adventurers on boats and ferries.  The weather is typical for July, with temperatures in the 80’s and a pleasant breeze.  This is summer at The Bay for sure! This is a perfect summer’s day at Put-in-Bay!

National Weather Service Cleveland
143 PM EDT Jul 2 2022

SYNOPSIS…
High pressure will settle across the eastern Great Lakes region through the rest of the weekend. This high will slide east on Monday and allow a warm front to lift north through the area.  The cold front has cleared the forecast area and high pressure is settling in nicely this afternoon. Some mid level clouds will enter from the southwest tonight and perhaps keep temperatures up a little bit with more lower 60s for lows than if the area were completely clear. The clouds will move out of the region late tonight and Sunday will be dry and mostly clear with winds out of the northeast to east. High temperatures will be akin to today with upper 70s east to upper 80s west.
