Put-in-Bay Mooring Balls Signal New Season

Put-in-Bay mooring balls enter the chilly waters (55°F) in the harbor this morning.  The Boardwalk mooring team’s placement of the moorings signals a new boating season at Put-in-Bay.  Boardwalk Harbor Operations operates the mooring field on behalf of the Put-in-Bay Port Authority.

Put-in-Bay’s mooring field is a plum location at South Bass Island. The proximity to village attractions, the serene setting, and the reliable and trustworthy harbor taxi service all create a rewarding and satisfying boating experience.  There is no additional fee for unlimited taxi service to/from the mooring.  USCG licensed captains operate harbor launches provided by The Boardwalk.
